Measuring base plate dimensions

To determine wich width baseplate you need, you need to measure the distance between the bolt holes you use to fasten your armpads. When mounted, the mount plate from the BTA system is wedged between the cockpit and the armpads, as shown on the diagram and the images below.

1.        Begin by measuring the width between the horizontal distance between the bolt you use to fix your armpads

2.        Based on that distance, you can determine whether you need a Medium or Wide baseplate, as illustrated below.

a.        Medium – horizontal distance between 54 and 148 mm

b.        Wide – horizontal distance between 130 and 198 mm

3.        To mount the plate, you need to wedge it underneath your armpads, and re-mount them on top, as on the scheme and the images below
