Three numbers, taken from your position and your arm. The cockpit is then made to them — not to the nearest available size, and not to anybody else’s.

Outer edge of the left cup to the outer edge of the right cup. This is the outside width — pad width is usually quoted centre to centre elsewhere, so measure yours the same way.

The quickest position is the narrowest one you can hold for the whole distance — and that number is yours, not a step on a chart. Built to it exactly, you ride the position you tested, with nothing rounded off in either direction.

The cup ends where your forearm does

Made to your forearm length, the shell carries the arm along its whole length rather than stopping short of it. That is what lets you brace instead of balance, and it is why the position still feels like yours in hour four.

Yours, and still adjustable

A made-to-measure part usually locks you into the day it was ordered. This one keeps 70 mm of reach and 15–30° of angle live after the build, set on the bike. Your fit can move; the cockpit moves with it.

Returns on a made-to-measure part. The standard Aero Cockpit carries a 30-day return. A PRO is built to your numbers and cannot be resold, so returns are handled case by case — talk to us before you order if that matters.

Measure your current armpad width outside edge to outside edge, then work toward the narrowest width you can still tuck your shoulders behind and hold for your full race distance. Send us the three measurements and we will sanity-check them with you before anything is built.

The fit, and what the fit lets you do. Your fastest width is the narrowest one you can genuinely stay in — built to that number exactly, it is the width you ride rather than the nearest one available. Made to your forearm length, the cup supports the arm along its whole length instead of stopping short, which is what lets you brace rather than balance late in a race. The aerodynamic profile is the same shape we put into every cockpit; none of it is held back.

Yes. 70 mm of fore-aft reach and 15–30° of angle stay adjustable with the cockpit on the bike, so a new fit over the winter does not mean a new cockpit. Width is the part fixed at build — which is the point of measuring it properly.
