How to Measure for Your AeroGain Speedmax Cockpit
You will need a ruler or measuring tape.
Take all measurements in millimeters (mm).
1. Armpad Width
What to measure:
Outer-to-outer distance between your current armpads. Measure at the widest point of your elbows.
How to measure:
-
Measure from the left edge of the left armpad
-
Measure to the right edge of the right armpad
-
Record the distance in millimeters.
Measure straight across, perpendicular to the bike.
2. Overall Reach
What to measure:
Distance from the mono spacer/mouting tower, to the end of your extensions.
How to measure:
-
Place the ruler at the rear edge of the mono riser. If using an angled riser with forward reach, measure to the foremost edge, furthest from the saddle.
-
Measure forward to the very end of the extension grip.
-
Record the distance in millimeters.
👉 Measure parallel to the extension.
👉 If unsure, measure on both sides and use the average.
Note: Your new cockpit will be built to your chosen reach and allows 60 mm of fine adjustment after installation.

3. Arm Length
What to measure:
Length from the tip of your elbow to the center of your closed fist.
How to measure:
-
Bend your arm to approximately 90 degrees.
-
Make a light fist, and angle your wrist (as if holding an extension).
-
Measure from the tip of your elbow to the bend in your wrist
-
Record the distance in millimeters.
👉 Keep your forearm straight while measuring.
👉 Do not measure along the curve — measure in a straight line.
